Meanwhile, here is what a large portion of my diet is lately:
About Me

- Benjamin J. Larson
- San Francisco, CA, United States
- Photography is my favorite form of art. The way it exploits the beauty in everyday occurrences and captures an infinitesimal point in time that may have passed without being noticed. I have always loved snapping photos, but it was when I finally got my hands on my first DSLR in December of 2009 that I truly fell in love. This is the evolution of me as a photographer. Race training has taken over my life
I've been a bit slow to posting to my blog lately, if you haven't noticed. I've been training my butt off for this long distance triathlon (Wildflower). The race is on Saturday, very exciting. Equally exciting: after the race is over, I'll have more time to catch up on my photography! Hang tight, I think I have some good stuff in the queue.

Wandering
So I've noticed that whenever I'm at home in the City, I tend not to take a lot of photos (well, in relation to how many photos I could be taking). I suppose it's because I'm so busy most of the time and when I'm not, I'm heading out of the City. I really would like to make a concerted effort to make some time to take more...or at least just carry the camera around with me more so that when I do see something, I can do something about it. The colors in the picture below caught my eye down at a Mission Street BART station ... and it kinda reminded me of the Fibonacci Curve for some reason...

New Years in New York
I can't believe I waited until I was nearly 30 to travel to New York. That being said, I did it right. I went for eight days and traveled/stayed with people that have lived their for years. I think I saw/ate just about everything I wanted and managed to witness one of the greatest snow storms New York has ever seen. Needless to say, there is a lot of pictures to go through :) To speed up my process, I'll just be uploading to my website... keep checking back as I will be adding more over the next week or so (I'm through Day 1 - and a couple extras here and there)
