Photography is my favorite form of art. The way it exploits the beauty in everyday occurrences and captures an infinitesimal point in time that may have passed without being noticed. I have always loved snapping photos, but it was when I finally got my hands on my first DSLR in December of 2009 that I truly fell in love. This is the evolution of me as a photographer. Had a great day playing in the ITE/APWA tournament with Matt, Jack, and Sharon. Always a fun event in a beautiful setting...we even managed to finish 9 under!
I took this series of photos while exploring a farm pasture in the outskirts of Petaluma, CA. A great day full of beer tasting with new friends, a party bus, and good photo shoot opportunities.
Alright, so we all know Yosemite is one of the most picturesque places on earth. The difficult thing to do with a place like this is to find unique subjects to capture. Even harder is to make a commonly photographed subject unique. I tried my best, but I'm sure there will be many more visits here. Now, I'm no Ansel Adams, but here's my first installation...
